    After reading the book, my kiddos did a fun Penny craftivity and homework assignment. I created two booklets for the unit as well. One was used at the beginning of the unit to teach students how measurement is used in the world, while the other was used as a component to a measurement activity after covering both the Customary and Metric Systems. Exploring is based on a unique and dynamic relationship between youth and the organizations in their communities.
